As the centenary celebrations of Ena de Silva come to a close, a new exhibition of her work ‘Imagining New Natures – Collaborations with Ena,' delves into the world of textile and batik design in Sri Lanka through the lens of Ena de Silva and her artistic partners.

The exhibition spotlights Ena's work, with a strong emphasis on her collaborative approach to creativity. ✨It explores the early stages of her career and presents collections created in collaboration with Anil Gamini Jayasuriya, Laki Senanayake, Ismeth Raheem, Hema Dharmasena, and Padmini Jayasinghe. These works, showcased together for the first time, illustrate how their collective efforts and experimentation with form and technique led to the creation of a new style of batik that challenged the histories of textiles.
